Seattle Youth Cricket League U13 season started with two wins for CAPS teams.

Even though some key CAPS Strikers players were missing for their first match against Northwest Wolves, CAPS strikers were able to put up some good batting performance. Rahul Bonthu and Santosh Nandivada‘s fifth wicket partnership of 50 runs set up a total of 133 runs in 25 overs. After some good batting display, awesome bowling performances by Yatin Mokana, Dhashan Wijesinghe, Karan Anand and Rahul Bonthu in the second innings secured the win for CAPS. Because of his all round performance, Rahul Bonthu was the Man of the Match. Here is the link for the scorecard.

The second match was CAPS Warriors vs. TotallyIn2Cricket NextGen. This game had a surprise in stock for CAPS Warriors as their top order collapsed due to a hat trick over by Avi Singh. After this an excellent 70 runs partnership between Srikar Nemani and Ishaan Taj stabilized the innings. Srikar Nemani scored his first 50 runs of the season, which helped the team put up a total of 156 runs in 25 overs. Then some good bowling performance by Sanat Misra, Rayaan Taj and Shishir Nair secured the win for CAPS Warriors. Srikar Nemani is the Man of the Match for his inning stabilizing knock.
