Weekend of May 4th was a busy weekend with two U11 matches, three U13 matches and the start of the U15 weekend. Five CAPS teams across the three age categories were busy playing the games, with some mixed results.

U11 Match results

First, it was a great weekend for both U11 teams. CAPS Tigers won easily against TotallyIn2Cricket Thunders in Day/Night match. Here is the scorecard link for the match

Man of the Match was Rajdeep Brijesh for his great bowling performance and winning runs.

CAPS Blasters also had an easy victory against TotallyIn2Cricket Striders. Excellent bowling performance by Karan Anand and Neil Parikh restricted Striders to a low total. Excellent batting by Kush Mittal followed the great bowling attached. Here is the scorecard link for the match

U13 Match Results

This weekend there were two U13 matches, CAPS Warriors vs. CAPS Strikers and CAPS Strikers vs. Northwest Wolves. CAPS Strikers lost both their matches, the first one to CAPS Warriors and the second match to Northwest Wolves.

CAPS Warriors put in a great performance by scoring 169 runs against CAPS Strikers, thanks to the excellent knock of 83 runs by Sanat Misra. To make this target challenging, Rajvir Mishra bowled well and took 4 wickets. Though Rahul Bonthu and Surya Narayanan put on a good fight, CAPS Strikers fell short of the required runs.

Sanat Misra is the Man of the Match for his excellent game winning knock and bowling.

U15 Match Results

The U15 Spring 2019 tournament started this weekend with the first match between Challengers and CAPS U15. CAPS U15 bowlers did well to restrict challengers to 149 runs in 25 overs. This was followed by an excellent opening partnership of 127 runs between Rahul Bonthu (46 runs) and Surya Narayanan (86 runs*). Thanks to this excellent bowling performance CAPS U14 won the match in 21.1 overs.
